Day 47 - Hello Digging, My Old Friend.

I knew today was going to be a race against time when I set off, it had rained this morning and I was expecting a downpour at any moment. With a little bit of weeding to do my main task of the day was to continue digging over the rear of the site. A task that is more energy dependant than time dependant. One of my fellow allotment owners offered me a plastic sheet and some wood planks which will be perfect for lining the area for the pond. the sheet can be used as a cardboard replacement since that is clearly coming to the end of it's use. We have some more railway sleepers being dropped off next week so for now, I'm allowing everything to pile up at the midpoint.  See you next time.
